We are a 'no new plastics' nursery — using only up-cycled or compostable materials for our plants.

We are offering affordable vegetable plant starts grown from seed right here in West Oakland at O2AA where the Re-Up Refill Shop is located.
The nursery is part of an attempt to utilize all of the organic waste produced at O2AA by fellow eco-businesses such as, Juniper Ridge, Soba Ichi, Daybreak Seaweed, Don Bugito, and so much more!
Upcycled potting soil, compost, fertilizers, and amendments all made on-site from nutrient dense waste byproducts.
This nursery supports East Bay growers and those close by in West Oakland! We have a wide variety of seasonal vegetables starts from heirloom tomatoes to specialty Asian herbs to winter squash varieties, and so much more.
